The Heart of Man Revisited, is our second show. It continues the story from 2009’s “The Heart of Man” placing Officer Jake Taylor in an old abandoned state hospital on Christmas Eve. He has responded here to the report of a small fire, as he enters a dilapidated theater in a wing of the hospital, he meets Abby Gibson. Abby is a young girl who’s father had left when she was very young and she has spent many years carrying the burden that she is the reason her dad left. Instead of taking her to juvenile lockup, he begins a conversation with her that leads to him taking her home and ultimately introducing her to a youth group. Abby’s world begins to change after her meeting with Jake and involvement with the youth group. The story is about how we influence each other and that the tiniest bit of love given magnifies without measure.
